Accipio use the latest technology to assist in current projects.

Accipio Education is not just about delivering workshops and scholarships for young people. It is also involved in research and development projects, looking closely at using the latest technology to assist in current projects, for both Accipio and its film and animation production company Studio 163.

High Definition

Following an intensive research period, Accipio orchestrated the upgrade of all equipment to prepare to shift production to the high-definition format. This involved a meticulous plan involving current productions, and upgrading all camera equipment and editing suites, while causing minimum disruption for work currently being completed.

Dida

The revolutionary new qualification is currently being tried by just a few select schools across the UK. Belle Vue Boy's School see the multimedia-based GCSE as a key instrument in helping turn the school's prospects around. Studio 163 have been commissioned to research and write a report looking at the core structure of the qualification, and suggestions for developing an innovative course content initiative designed specifically to address the school's needs.

E-Vid.com

Innovative software design by Studio 163, commissioned by Team Interact, which allows community groups and rural SME's to upload their own media content onto the internet. Using an easy-to-follow 'wizard', E-vid.com creates a unique website design with watchable video and images, and features a video tutorial on maximising online marketing designed by Zymo Marketing & PR.

Ventureville

Developed by Accipio to take advantage of the forthcoming blu-ray disc format, 'VentureVille' stole the show at the annual b-tween interactive content conference, competing with rivals such as Endemol in front of a jury consisting of the BBC, C4 and Nesta. 'VentureVille' is an interactive drama aimed at Key Stage 3, using puzzles and games to further the adventure, and allowing the user to navigate their own way through the action using a normal DVD remote.
